The silver lords prayer box is a perfect ‘first tooth’ or ‘first curl’ keepsake for a child. The box is made from thick silver and is stamped with a version of the lords prayer on the lid.
A wonderful gift to mark a christening or confirmation, this lovely little box by silversmiths Francis Howard is inscribed with the Lord’s Prayer. The prayer is written in a roundel at the centre of the box’s lid. The writing is small, but beautifully clear; and a prayer card is included with the packaging. The box itself is made from 925 sterling silver, which was hallmarked in the Sheffield Assay Office. It has a smooth, polished finish: an exquisite piece. Silversmiths Francis Howard was formed in 1870, and is still run by the Howard family from the premises they acquired in Sheffield in 1873.
