Francis Howard Silver Medium Pair of Grouse

This exquisite brace of grouse was crafted by silversmiths Francis Howard from sterling silver. Cast using the lost wax technique, the detail on the birds is superb. They have fine feathers and lifelike features, and both birds are standing with the alert expressions typical of grouse. A polished finish adds real character to their beaks and beady eyes. British silversmiths Francis Howard has been crafting exquisite silverware since 1870. The company continues to be run by Howard family, from the Sheffield premises they acquired in 1873. Presented in a gift box, the sterling silver brace would make a wonderful present.
