Add character to the dinner table with this appealing sterling silver salt and pepper set. The pair of green-eyed frogs is crafted by British silversmiths, Francis Howard. These charming amphibians are wonderfully detailed, complete with textured skin, webbed feet and adorably lugubrious expressions. They are identical except for the traditional single hole for salt and multi holes for pepper. The shakers come open easily for refilling. Sheffield-based silversmiths Francis Howard has been crafting beautiful silverware since 1870. The company is still run by the Howard family, from the premises they acquired in 1873.

This collectible set makes a wonderful present, and comes presented in a gift box.

Sheffield silversmiths Francis Howard have been crafting beautiful silverware since 1870. Today, the fifth generation of the Howard family run the company, which recently celebrated its 150-year anniversary.

Their stunning pieces range from graceful tableware to incredibly detailed sporting figurines. Francis Howard’s skilled craftsmen use traditional skills to work on the pieces, many of which are hand-made. Each finished item is hallmarked at the Sheffield Assay Office.
