This hallmarked silver salt mill makes a stunning addition to any kitchen counter or dining table. Handmade by our expert craftspeople, and incorporating ‘Peugeot’ mechanisms, these simple mill grinders make a stunning wedding or anniversary gift.
Season your food to perfection with this sterling silver salt mill from silversmiths Francis Howard. The classic curved design is finished in smooth, polished silver, while inside the robust Peugeot mechanism ensures an excellent grind. Peugeot make their salt mill grinders from stainless steel with the addition of chromium and nickel, which prevent the salt from causing corrosion. The top screw has a contrasting gilt finish, so you can tell your salt from your pepper.
The salt mill is made from 925 sterling silver, hallmarked in the Sheffield Assay Office. Family-run silversmiths Francis Howard has been crafting beautiful silverware in the city since 1870.
