This pair of inquisitive mice by Saturno is on a crumb hunt: luckily, the toaster’s silver plug isn’t in the socket. The amusing little ornament is made from sterling silver, which has been hand-painted in these rich green and brown tones. Both the mice and the toaster are beautifully detailed. The cheeky creatures have appealing paws and faces, while the toaster is perfect, right down to its settings dial and cable. Saturno’s figurines are crafted in Italy. They are polished by hand, then individually painted. The figurines are then glazed and baked, creating those lovely colours.
