Sterling Silver “Eggs on Legs” Salt and Pepper Pots from Francis Howard

Brighten up your breakfast table with these endearing egg-shaped salt and pepper shakers from silversmiths Francis Howard. The smooth egg-shaped shakers stand on realistic-looking chicken legs, sure to bring a smile to anyone who uses them. A silver screw has been fitted in the base of each piece to enable the filling/removal of the salt or pepper.  The polished sterling silver eggs have the time-honoured single-hole salt and multi-hole pepper designs.

The salt and pepper shakers are made from 925 sterling silver, hallmarked in the Sheffield Assay Office. The Howard family established a silversmiths in the city in 1870, and still run the business to this day.
