Celebrate your Cornish heritage, or take home a souvenir of the Duchy, with this smart pair of St Piran cufflinks. The flag of St Piran is the county flag of Cornwall, flown proudly across the county. The patron saint of Cornish tin miners, the black and white design represents the shining tin rising from the dark ore (or good triumphing over evil).
The cufflinks were made exclusively for Bonds. The distinctive black and white flag design is made from enamel, with a fine outline of base metal highlighting the white cross. The back of the cufflinks and the torpedo fastener are made from base metal.
The Mallards Collection was launched by our own Douglas Bond in 2004. Originally established to create bespoke pieces for gift shops (at sites including Westminster Abbey and Royal Museums Greenwich), Mallards also sells heritage-inspired pieces to Bonds’ customers.
Look out for sterling silver jewellery inspired by coats of arms and historic artefacts, as well as natural subjects like British flora and fauna. Each piece is a talking point, designed by Douglas then crafted in Birmingham’s famous jewellery quarter.
