This elegant silver spoon is a modern take on a traditional christening gift, by silversmiths Francis Howard. The origin of the phrase “born with a silver spoon in their mouth”, silver spoons have been a popular christening present for generations. This Francis Howard spoon has a lovely, curved profile and a feature hallmark design. The contemporary-style spoon is made from 925 sterling silver, hallmarked in the Sheffield Assay Office. Francis Howard silversmiths was established in 1870, and is still run in Sheffield by the Howard family to this day. The spoon comes in quality gift packaging.
