The Bristol dark blue frame is one of our most eye catching pieces. The 1.5cm band width frame is made in sterling silver and carries an English hallmark. The blue colouring is applied by hand with incredible precision, using cold cure enamel.
“Bristol” is an elegant photo frame from silversmiths Francis Howard, finished with vivid dark blue enamel. The midnight blue shade contrasts with the bright sterling silver trims, giving a look that’s both classic and distinctive. The photo frame is available in 3 sizes perfect for all family portraits. The wooden back has a smart black finish. The cold-cure enamel process can result in slight variations in colour and consistency – if this happens, this is part of its hand-painted charm.
The hand-finished frame is made from 925 sterling silver, hallmarked in the Sheffield Assay Office. Francis Howard was established in Sheffield in 1870. These days, the Howard family continues to run the business from the premises they acquired in 1873.
