Silver Plated Frog and Snail Open Salt Dish from Francis Howard
This unusual sterling silver salt dish by British silversmiths Francis Howard would make a splendid talking point at the dinner table. The wonderfully detailed frog is carrying an upturned snail shell with a rich, gilt inner. Look out for the tiny beetle hitching a ride on the back… Simply pop your salt inside the shell, and the helpful amphibian will look after it for you. Francis Howard has been crafting exquisite silverware since 1870. The company is still run by Howard family today, from the Sheffield premises they acquired in 1873.
The collectible salt dish is presented in a gift box.
