Oval shaped outline, front set with eight single cut diamonds, each measuring approx. 1.4mm diameter and fifteen circular shaped mixed cut rubies, measuring approx. 1.4mm diameter, grain set within a four ray star surround, suspended from a plain polished grooved surmount. Locket hallmarked 9ct gold Birmingham 2004 convention (yellow gold), sponsors mark JAM. approx. length of locket (including surmount) 38mm. Estimated diamond weight 0.08 metric carats, assessed colour H-I, assessed clarity SI1-I2, some diamonds chipped. Estimated total ruby weight 0.20 metric carat, assessed colour strong purplish red, assessed clarity good to moderately included.
