The appealing bird is made using the lost wax casting technique, which allows the silversmith to recreate those painstaking little details. The sterling silver bird has delicate feathers as well as life-like face and feet. Francis Howard was established in 1870 Sheffield, the heart of Britain’s silver industry. The family continues to run the business to this day.
