The appealing mice are wonderfully detailed, with textured fur and ruby-coloured eyes. They sit upright on their little paws, balanced by their tails. They also have a feature hallmark along their sides. The pair has the classic single and multi-holes for salt and pepper – which comes out of their tiny mouths. The shakers open up easily to be refilled. Silversmiths Francis Howard was established in Sheffield, the heart of Britain’s silver industry, in 1870.
