Anglaise Skeleton Ticking Quartz Carriage Clock from Woodford
The Anglaise Quartz carriage clock by Woodford is a fascinating and distinctive timepiece.
The solid brass case has polished, gold-effect finish, and has the traditional Anglaise carrying handle. It is powered by a quality Quartz mechanism, which gives you accuracy with very little maintenance. Unusually for a Quartz clock, it has a skeleton case that lets you admire the mechanism through glass panels. It also replicates the tick of a traditional carriage clock.
The white dial has black Roman numerals and an outer minute dial. The carriage clock was invented by Abraham-Louis Breguet, so it’s natural that the Anglaise has Breguet-style hands.
