Halcyon Days Enamels Nelsons Button Round Enamel Box. The Base of this Box is Plain Royal Blue in colour. The Lid which has a Gold Plated Mount is Inspired by the buttons from the undress coat worn by Vice-Admiral Lord Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar 1805. The Buttons which were made of Gilt Brass is Hand Painted in the same Gilt Brass colour on the Lid and features the engraved foul anchor motif. The wreath of laurel leaves denotes the rank of Admiral.
