Halcyon Days Enamels Hand Painted Rectangular The Prince of Wales 50th Anniversary Enamel Box.  Prince Charles was Created the 21st Prince of Wales on 26th July 1958 and this Heraldic Box celebrates the 50th anniversary. On the Lid inside a Gold Plated Mount the Prince of Wales Feathers are depicted above The Royal Arms with the Heir Apparents three point label. On either side are the Arms of Llewelyn ap Gruffydd the last native Prince of Wales and the badge of the Red Dragon of Wales. The Base and the Edge of the Lid are painted with the Yellow Daffodil of Wales. Inside the Box Caernarfon Castle appears on the Base while inside the Lid appears 1958 to 2008 To Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Prince Charles being created The Prince of Wales on 26th July 1958 He was invested by The Queen at Caernarfon Castle on 1st July 1969. This Box would make a delightful family heirloom.
