A new design for 2006, featuring a kingfisher, or halcyon (in Greek), on the lid. The legend inscribed on the inside lid reads "According to legend, during the ten days around the winter solstice, the Kingfisher laid its eggs in a nest floating on the Aegean Sea. The bird, it is said, charmed the waves and the eggs were hatched on a tranquil sea beneath cloudless blue skies. These are the Halcyon Days, they signify peace and happiness. Width 60mm
