The Victoria Embankment forms the main part of London's Thames Embankment scheme designed by Sir Joseph Bazalgette. Work on the project, one of the engineering feats of the period, began in 1864 and finished in 1870. This box replicates John O'Connor's highly detailed painting of 1872, which depicts the new Embankment looking east from the terrace of Somerset House towards the City. The original is housed in the Museum of London. Limited edition of 150 Length 84mm
